It all started with two boxes of 1989 Donruss wax packs on the front counter of a gourmet food and gift shop. The Glenn family operated a very successful country store in a shopping village but after seven years decided to sell the business and open a sports card shop. In 1991 Lou Perella joined the team and a partnership was formed. Sales were growing until the 1994 strike forced the shop to diversify. Daughter Lori joined to become a vital force in diversification.

In 2001 the business was sold outright to Lori, with her father remaining on as a consultant and buyer. Lou Perella remained very good friends and after six years of other interests rejoined Legends Sports Gallery to assist in a new, aggressive venture.

Effective January 1, 2007 Legends Sports Gallery will reorganize with Lori Glenn as owner and president, Jerry Glenn Vice President for Procurement and Promotion and Lou Perella Vice President of Procurement and Internet Sales. This new organization will allow the business to grow in the changing memorabilia environment, and add to financial stability.

2007 will be the beginning of 20 years of selling high-quality merchandise at fair prices with unconditional satisfaction and guarantee.

Legends Sports Gallery is a sports enthusiast’s haven for shopping. The mission of the staff is to have ‘something” for everyone when they enter the museum-like shop.
